Greatest HL2 set piece or level
Which is the standout moment in HL2 for you? For me there are two, I guess. The first one is the Rvensholm level which gave me the chills first time around. Those leapers give me the heebie geebies. The second is the encounter with the Strider's outside the entrance to the Citadel. I remember cowering under the passageway in the road desperate for an opening to go reload the rocket launcher.
What stands out for you? |

Trains = Bad.
HL1: Train crashes during Apprehension. HL2: Train delivers you to area where you would have ended up in Nova Prospekt. HL2:Ep1: Train you are on is caught in exploding citadel's explosion. HL2:Ep2: You trapped in a crashed train which, if Alyx didn't free you, would have been crushed beneath a... Yes, that's right: crushed under a train.

Exactly, I just wish that I could get on a train in the half life universe and maybe it wouldn't crash. Although, they probably run on time more often than the welsh rail system
![]() Another good set piece: In EP2, when you have to defend the mine and Alyx from the antlions until the vortigaunts appear. Also, did anyone bother sending the garden gnome into space? ![]() |

Actually i reckon a good piece would've been the train ride in, now in HL2 it is quite short, but it was supposed to be round about 5 minutes in length and you would get a good glimpse of City 17 on the ride in and you could see other trains passing you by.
