Left4Dead Hitting the PS3? Editor Bryan Irvings of Electronic Gaming Monthly seems to think so. In fact, according to him, it's official.

All is not lost though, at the end of his post, he wrote:

"As for Left4Dead: Yes, it will arrive on the PS3, as well."

While this doesn't make anything 'official' it sure as hell has PS3 fans excited. But how reliable is Bryan Irvings and EGM as a source?? Only time will tell...

[edit]: according to the source, which is actually from neogaf.com forums, the person who posted is claiming to be Bryan Intihar, EGM's previews editor. Not Bryan Irvings.

There is no proof either way. However some are suggesting that if this is real, perhaps this could be the reason for the delay? Hmmm. Thoughts on that?

That's definitely a possibility, but there is a chance that it's the real deal. I too am skeptical but if it is fake I'm sure the real Bryan Intihar (From EGM) will make it known. Especially with the publicity that this supposed 'L4D on PS3 confirmation' is making.

Something tells me we won't be seeing L4D on PS3. Sure, being a PS3 owner I'd absolutely love it to be on there... But it just doesn't seem likely.

Until Valve/TRS announce that its on there I'm not getting my hopes up.

The more I read of this the more I am thinking "Advertising Ploy". EGM has gained X amount of exposure from this and they don't appear to have quoted any quality source or hinted at where their assumption comes from.

It probably won't be coming out for ps3, if it was it would probably be announced on the L4D official website.

Perhaps, but reputable companies cannot go around throwing bluster into the air without source or back up. They lose credibility doing that and, whilst it may benefit them in the short term, it damages reputations long term.
