I just started up HL2 again for the first time in months and I noticed that the game was made in 2004. Wow. It's four years old and still incredible. Better than anything else released in the last four years without a doubt. I didn't really think about it before today, but looking at that and then jumping into Ravenholm for some shooty/scary action I was, once again, blown away by the perfection in this game.

I can only hope that L4D proves to be as good as Halflife 2.

So far by the screenshots look nice, but we'll see when it comes out.

Yeah, the source engine is one of the better engines - sure it isn't on some kind of miracle steroid like the Crytek engine, but it still has a warm feeling to it not to mention the awesome faceposing.

Source may not have the most realistic graphics but its still one of the best engines on the market and its growing.

I know how you feel, AzH, I get that when I play Half-Life... But I think "I can't believe this is almost 10 years old..."
