Mm, generalising is great. The media shows a hell of a lot more anti-war stuff than they do anything else because they know it will get them ratings. That's that. You can't generalise a whole nation on what you see in the media.


The damn population eh? If the American population didn't support the war then why did the military exceed its expected enrolment quotas?


Mm, OK, put it this way; would you rather be sleeping outside, on a day that's like 3 degrees Celsius with nothing but the clothes on your back, no money, no family, no friends, no nothing. Or would you rather have the basic essentials that you'd have in the military? At least in the military they know that they have something back home. They will have money, they have a family, they have a home.
Besides, the massive part of society that are in the sort of situation I described above are not there of their own free will, they don't have a choice. Whereas those in the military chose to be there.
If you choose to do something don't expect other people to pity you because it isn't all cushions and glory.
